Terms and Conditions

By downloading the app, registering an account, using the developer SDK, or accessing the developer portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

Techs Solutions provides the following through TS Smart Home:

• Mobile App (Android & iOS): Control and monitor smart plugs and switches in real time, configure automation schedules, and manage paired devices
• Cloud Backend & WebSocket Relay: Routes real-time commands and status updates between the app and physical devices over a secure WebSocket connection
• Developer SDK (C++ / ESP32): An open SDK that lets hardware developers build custom smart devices that connect to the TS Smart Home platform
• Developer Portal: A web portal where registered SDK developers can manage their account, view paired devices, and retrieve their SDK token
• Push Notifications: Real-time alerts for device connectivity changes and automation events, delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging

We may update or modify Services at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our Services. If you are registering as a developer on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Accessing the app and controlling devices requires registration. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account, including commands sent to paired devices
• Keeping your email verified to receive critical account notifications
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access to your account

You may sign in with email/password or via Google Sign-In. Accounts linked to Google are authenticated through Google's OAuth 2.0 service.

When you pair a smart device with your account, you become the owner of that pairing. By accepting these Terms you acknowledge that:

• Commands you issue through the app may directly control physical electrical equipment
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that any automation schedules you create are safe and appropriate for your equipment
• Techs Solutions is not liable for property damage, electrical hazards, or any harm resulting from device commands or automation schedules
• Device control depends on an active internet connection; the Service does not guarantee 100% uptime
• When you unpair a device, it is released and may be claimed by another user

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access devices, accounts, or areas of the backend you do not own or have explicit permission to access
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with device firmware or the backend API outside of the documented SDK
• Use automated scripts or bots to issue commands at a rate that degrades service for other users
• Register fake accounts or provide false information during registration
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform or SDK without prior written consent

If you register as a developer and use the TS Smart Home SDK to build devices, you additionally agree to the following:

• SDK Token: Your SDK token is a secret credential. You must not share it publicly or embed it in open-source code. Anyone with your token can register devices under your account.
• Permitted Use: The SDK may only be used to build devices that connect to the TS Smart Home platform in good faith and for lawful purposes
• Device Responsibility: You are responsible for the correct and safe operation of any hardware you build using the SDK
• API Fair Use: Do not send excessive API requests that could degrade platform performance; we reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the API
• Token Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend a developer account and revoke its SDK token if these Terms are violated

All content on this website and within the Services — including software, firmware, backend code, branding, and documentation — is owned by or licensed to Techs Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The public SDK header files and documentation are made available for use in your own hardware projects, but ownership of the underlying platform remains with Techs Solutions. Any user-generated content (e.g., device names, schedule labels) remains yours.

We may release over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates for devices connected to the platform. These updates may change device behavior, add features, or address security vulnerabilities. By using the Services you agree that:

• Firmware updates may be applied automatically to maintain security and stability
• We are not liable for any temporary disruption caused by a firmware update
• Reverting to older firmware versions is not guaranteed to be supported

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your own account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), which will permanently remove your data and unpair all devices linked to your account.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Services. Smart home control over the internet is inherently dependent on network conditions, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or zero-latency command execution.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Techs Solutions and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the Services. This includes but is not limited to property damage, data loss, or harm arising from device automation commands.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Techs Solutions is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review them regularly. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
